Spring is one of the most versatile offshore periods in South Florida. Blackfin tuna can be a major target, mahi begin to show with more consistency, and sailfish remain part of the mixed-bag opportunity.
Live bait can be extremely effective when tuna and pelagics are working the reef edge. Trolling and searching offshore also stay in the toolbox when conditions point us away from the reef.
